In 2008, virtual server was introduced to establish eco-conscious network system.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, our connection with external networks was built up drastically by introducing 1-gigabit optical line to Matsuyama DC, one of the connection points in SINET5. At the same year, we replaced the PCs for students with 120 iMacs, which have virtual environments on Mac OS, on which Windows 10 is available, too. We provide the development environments for students to program applications for smart phones, which are recently desired worldwide. These facilities are useful for our students to become engineers with most advanced technologies.<\/p>\n<p>Our activities are open to inside and outside. We provide the information security education for students as well as teaching staffs. Besides, we hold extension courses and technical consulting for the surrounding communities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><span><a id=\"SHISETU_2\"><\/a>Audio &amp; Visual Systems Facilities<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"col12\">\n<div class=\"col5 \">\n<ul class=\"gallery\">\n<li><em>Assembly Hall<\/em><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Assembly Hall\" src=\"http:\/\/www.yuge.ac.jp\/wp-content\/themes\/yugekousen\/images\/style\/institution_3.jpg\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Assembly Hall is our audio &amp; visual education center and it<br \/>\nhas color material display equipment, high-resolution TV, video<br \/>\nprojector, BS tuner, presentation display panel, big screen, etc.<br \/>\nThese tools are used for everyday class activities.<\/p>\n<p>In the library, there is a video section, and students can watch<br \/>\nvideos.<\/p>\n<p>We also have a digital scanning converter and video cameras<br \/>\nto make our own educational materials.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><span><a id=\"SHISETU_3\"><\/a>Library<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p class=\"right\"><span class=\"small\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yuge.ac.jp\/library\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Library\" src=\"http:\/\/www.yuge.ac.jp\/wp-content\/themes\/yugekousen\/images\/common\/link.gif\">Library<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The library has about 73,000 books, such as general culture books, technical books and reference books (dictionaries, encyclopedias, almanacs, etc.). It also has newspapers, magazines, books for qualifying examinations, graded readers, novels, small-sized paperbacks, and DVDs. Students can make pay copies of library books and materials within the Copyright Act.<\/p>\n<p>Opening hours are from 8:30 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 16:00 on weekends. 10 external lending books in two weeks are available.<\/p>\n<p>The library is open to community residents and they are free to use it under conditions very similar to our students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div
