In our daily lives so many of the tools we have come to rely on; mobile phones, digital cameras, etc., rely on computers to control them.

In the Electronic and Mechanical Engineering course you can learn how to harness new technologies such as robotics as well as environmentally friendly forms of solar, tidal and wind energy generation to the design and manufacture of the technologies that so dominate our lives.

Through hands-on experience with milling machines as well as computer-based simulations of the tensile strength of materials and laboratory based experiments students are able to attain a broad-based understanding of materials and engineering.

Students also enjoy the advantage of applying their knowledge and skills in the hands-on environment of our training ship the Yuge-maru.
