Our Mission Statement

  • Through a strong foundation in the natural sciences educate young people to provide them with the flexibility and skills to thrive in our increasingly technological world.
  • To nurture young people with a sense of curiosity in the world around them, particularly in the sea, its nature, culture and history, and to give them the ability to view these phenomena from multiple viewpoints.
  • To educate young people to have an interest in, and respect for, their own culture and the culture of others, to have an international perspective and a high sense of ethics not only as an engineer but also as a human being.

Department Educational Goals
General Education Department To develop in our students a broad-based understanding of the basic knowledge necessary for them to become competent and creative engineers.
Specialized education Maritime Technology Department Through training in science and technology to transform students in to competent maritime engineers.
Electronic Mechanical Engineering Department Through practical hands-on experience of the manufacturing process provide students with the skills to plan, design, manufacture and maintain products.
Information Science and Technology Department To develop knowledgeable and talented system engineers with the necessary skills of problem-analysis and problem-solving.
Advanced Engineering Course Educational Goals
Maritime Transportation Systems Engineering Course To train engineers in the highly technical skills of marine transportation engineering and management with a hands-on focus on systems operation management, development and engineering.
Production Systems Engineering To train engineers with the practical skills to manage machine and information systems in industry allowing them to contribute not only in the Inland Sea area but internationally.
