The General Education Department provides a wide range of basic learning with the aim of fostering engineers with the skills required for our modern society.

Through our classes in Social Studies, the Natural Sciences, Languages, Health and Physical Education, the Arts and others, we focus on fostering students’ flexible thinking, high ethics, internationalism and creativity.

Through the careful design of our school curriculum the study of specialized subjects is managed along with the basic education to create a unified education system. The contents of learning are designed to progress from the acquisition of basic academic proficiency along to the training for and application of skills to specialized fields of study.

Our staff provide personalized, meticulous, individually-targeted teaching to each student according to their level of academic achievement.

A small-group teaching system has been introduced into our language classes (in English) and they provide well-developed, fulfilling lessons for the students.

Through close coordination between staff and students our challenge is to develop engineers who not only possess highly specialized knowledge but are also rich in humanity.
